Marie has been very photogenic in the last couple of weeks. Above is her 8 month picture. She knows she's a big girl. She had just learned to sit up all by herself the day before (thanks to her bible class teachers Mrs. Karen and Mrs. Janet.)
This picture is Marie tired of getting her picture taken while wearing a bonnet. I bet Aunt Tammie remembers the last time we took pictures of Marie in this outfit. She fits it much better now!
Marie can play without Mama now that she can sit up and get her own toys. Although sometimes she's not so sure about being alone.
Daddy thought it best if Marie skipped church last Sunday. The day before she had a BIG snotty nose. She still looks a little sick in this picture, but she can still muster up a smile for Mama.
Daddy surprised Marie while she was about to take a bath. Please Dad, can't a girl have some privacy?

Yeah for Marie, sitting up by herself! I love that last picture with the surprised look on her face. So funny.
I would definitely agree that she's being more facially expressive lately.

She's a cutie! Good work on the tummy muscles when sitting up by herself. Those mean bible class teachers.
